We are looking for exotic-looking guys and girls working as extras for a hollywood big movie "Amazing" shooting in shanghai,Yao Ming,Kobe,and Earvin Johnson will join in this movie . It talk about NBA star coming to china to teach chinese young man to play basketball.and it will have a basketball competition,the players come from all over the world,so we need many people from different countries with all kinds of exotic-looking.

i don't see the point in going to an event when i don't even feel a part of SS in the fact that i hardly have made any friends from it!!!!!
sorry. i want to make friends from SS. however, i found, when i went not many people bother to really get to know you... on a level other than "omigod, your avatar is SO cool" or "omigod did u see his posting last night".
i want to meet like minded ppl... and this sort of event sort of focuses on the main posters of the site.
perhaps if they tried to do something like a 'new member' welcome... it would be good. or a talent show... everyone can show their talent, singing dancing comedy etc that would REALLY be good!

'just for the record: voting has been open for weeks. Very few people have voted, even I tried my best to ask for everyone to participate. Yes, many names are repeated again and again, but this is not my fault. People were free to choose, and we never suggested any member for any category.
After the party all the voting will be published, so people can see I didn't manipulate thre results."
how many people voted? just out of interest??? Bear in mind there are 19,400 members.
if you want people to vote, perhaps focus ss can focus on getting the 'little known' members to be involved more. make them feel included... when they come to events, people can take time to 'get to know them' rather than be focused on themselves and taking photos of themselves to post online to show that they are the 'top dogs' of SS.....
if there were less photos of 'top dogs' of ss then maybe more new ppl would feel involved or special....
actually top dogs may not be the right word. those that want to be in the limelight is better.
