I miss Shanghai so much.

The night life, the city itself, the food & restaurants, shopping opportunities, my friends, etc. I want to go back so badly, but I have no reason to. Getting work is difficult, especially since I'm only 19 (soon to be 20) and don't have a bachelor degree yet. I've thought about what to study, but it's so difficult to choose since I want so much. Maybe I should just take East-Asian studies. It would amuse me more than an art history bachelor.

I'm in my last two weeks now.. My plane back to Norway leaves on the 30th of May, and so I'm more limited on time than ever.

I've had a whole lot of fun here, met a whole lot of wonderful people, been to a whole lot of wondereful events and exciting places. It's too bad I'm leaving, really. I'd like to come back sometime. The only problem is that most of my friends are leaving on the same weekend as I am, and coming back without them being here seems akward.

A while ago I took on a job as a hostess with the French Touch Agency.

It's a "pay-per-assignment" part-time job though, and I haven't gotten any assignments yet. Which kind of also means no money. Maybe I'm just being super impatient and restless, but I haven't heard more from them since then. Maybe I should focus on getting more TFPs meanwhile instead - I so far have four for February.

I want an assignment damnit. Does anyone else here work for or have experiences with them?

I'm looking forward to the Chinese New Year and such, and I'm hoping to see the dragon dance.

And of course I seriously hope it'll start getting warmer soon - it's going to be cold sprading around in coctail dresses when going to the different clubs. Which, by the way, is the only thing I'll probably do during the holiday. Party, I mean. I'm looking forward to it in one way, but it's too bad most of my friends won't be in SH.

Don't you sometimes just feel good? For no reason, even. Today is the first time in a long while I've felt beautiful, but it makes me nervous for some reason I can't quite define.

There are times I feel so shallow that it's almost sickening. Like every IQ-point I had disappeared the day I realized I could look good.
