I am truly sorry that it took me a while to reply to your last message. In the company where I work we had our annual trip outside Shanghai, so just came back to Shanghai last night ... and just now saw your message.
Talking about Robin ... "if it is ok for you" I can do the postings in AsiaExpat and other websites. I just need you to tell me which e-mail address of yours I can put in the postings (in case somebody wants to contact you about Robin).
Regarding the vacinations and the license ... yes, it is true that the last vaccination (rabbies vacination) must be done in one of the few authorized veterinary hospitals in the city. With the last vaccination, the puppy must get the chip implant and to get the relevant license.
In the license you will be named the owner and the puppy will be asociated to your current address. If after this procedure the puppy is adopted and goes to another home there will be no problem at all ... because by next year the new owner must pay the annual license again and then to have the puppy associated to his/her address (the license id issued by the police station closest to the address of the current owner).
What is truly important is to always carry the license when the puppy is taking out for a walk ... police officers can take the puppy away if the owner is not carrying the license ... and the puppy will be putto sleep the following day!
:o(((
Talking about the guide I sent you ... the kitten there is not Tia. That kitten is Valentina, and she was adopted over on year ago.
Dear Emma, please let me know if you need any additional help or info.
Huge hug!
Alejandra

I am sorry to hear that so far Robin has not been lucky in finding his forever loving home. Jaiya's Animal Rescue and other animal rescue groups (such as Second Chance Animal Aid) always request that the animals (cats and dogs) must have their first vaccination before attending adoption day and before to put their information in their websites, galleries and blogs.
This is requested because the first vaccination provides the new owner of the pet with the tranquility of knowing that the pet has no disease ... and this first vaccination also makes easy to find adoptive homes for pets that are waiting.
I will highly advice you to have Robin vaccinated ... in that way all the process of finding a new home for him can be easier. If you get him vaccinated, please do not forget to have the sticker of the vaccination on the medical booklet together with all other medical information ... you can show all the medical information in the booklet to potential adoptive parents, and they will be quite happy to see that Robin is medically ok.
Just in case, check the following:

... and also the attached file: Bulletin Rescue of Stray Animals
Best regards!!!
Hello Emma
It is wonderful to hear that this lovely puppy is safe and sound thanks to you.
I highly advice you to contact Jaiya's Animal Rescue (JAR) and to send all the information and pictures of this puppy. His information can be put in the JAR dog gallery and blog ... so he will chance better chance to find a home. Later on you could also attend the animal adoption days with the puppy, so people will see him and maybe somebody can adopt him on the spot.
The e-mail of JAR is: shanghaidogs@gmail.com
I also advice you to post the information about this puppy in the classifieds section of Shanghai Stuff, in Cityweekend, EnjoyShanghai, AsiaExpat, etc.
Best regards!

I'm so sad so sad so sad a million times of regret, but my boy will never come back. He is so adorable, a dearie a sweet heart, but i never consider his feeling before. He has been abandoned several times, been passed down from 1 family to another according to his 1st owner, yet kept the same name. I found him at the front gate & kept him in the pet store, while all of us tried to find a permanent family for him.…
