Dec 12th was our 13th Meet and Greet, everyone got into the Christmas spirit.... it was a lot of fun and heaps of great prizes were given away including beer, magazines, toys incl. a large Santa mobile, magnetic dartboard, and more.... we had drink specials on the gluhwein which worked a treat given the recent CHILLY weather....

BACKGROUND OF CHINESE CHAT FOR SERIOUS ZHONGWEN LEARNERS...
I started the Chinese Chat for Serious Zhongwen Learners group in 2009 (April), it's been going for over 2 years and now have 750+ online members, and an average of 20-40 people attend each event.

I started this group to practice my own Mandarin and to lose the fear i had in speaking it every day. I also hope to encourage like minded lao wai to lose the fear, face it by jiang, jiang, jianging zhongwen every day. Don't worry about mistakes. They will only help you learn! And, we have a great bunch of locals who come and will speak to you fully in CHinese without being patronising, like, "OH YOU HAVE GREAT CHINESE" when you have only just said "NI HAO"!

如果你找语言练习（换）的机会，你现在找到了！我们的组又很好，你可以很方方松松地参加，认识许多老外／中国朋友，不用那么紧张，很好玩。不必每次参加，我会常常发电子邮件通知你，告诉你下个活动的节目，真方便喔！！不管是下午或者晚上的时候，我们想看你方便就好好安排！每个人的时间都不一样！！
