Agree or disagree that there is no god out. If there would be a God out there we would live in a better world. The so called religions only use the poorest people to make on them. The Catholic Church Inc. is the worlds largest and most profitable enterprise
Any thoughts form you ?
The catholic church does not ask for money nor do they make it compulsory for any donations whatsoever. I'm a Catholic and the family has been Catholic for hundreds of years. The fact that it is rich has nothing to do with the use of poor people.
Protestant churches on the other hand where pastors get married demand 10% of ones salary, this my friend is simply evil. Their pastors do not know theology, take 10% of poor and rich members, run the "church" as a business, decipher the gospel with limited or zero knowledge.
Then we move on to monks, my mom has met the dalai lama and the rem pon chi, living in the monastery but surrounded by the most luxurious creature comforts, again these monks do not ask for it, nor do they realize the material value, pure gifts. However monks in Malaysia and Singapore are rip offs living in Villa's, driving flashy cars, flying business class.
In Malaysia it is compulsory for Muslims to pay a special tax every year called "zakat" they are forced to pay this to religious authorities. No matter if you are rich or poor! Funds are constantly mismanaged.
The Catholic Church maybe rich, but do not impose donations on anyone. If Catholics give so willingly it must say something.

You are wrong my friend...in europe they charge all over...e.g germany 10 % your personal incom tax.
Anyhow is the post is general. Is there a need to pay for GOD? no because if there is any ...he/she wont charge you for anything
The Catholic Church has been the most money driven Church in history.
Who ordered the inquisition. Who sold tickets to heaven to the rich. Who
did the mass murdering in south America? Why is the Inka, Aztec and
Maya gold still in the Vatican? And yes they do charge money in Europe,
Africa and the US. Only in emerging markets they act low profile.
In South east Asia, they need to, because they run a fierce competition
and are almost on the last ranks, while Islam is the major winner.
It's a business my friend. And all their books are as real as Santa Claus.
in the US? I hope you are not confusing the catholic church with some unknown protestant churches. got loads of family in the states and none of this goes on in catholic churches they are in. d.c. virginia. minneapolis. dallas fortworth.
My religion is better than yours because blah blah blah
My religion is real because blah blah blah
. . . being an Atheist*, perhaps i shouldn't say anything
. . . but i do have a great amount of respect for Deists and Deism*, etc
. . .Frankly however, "organized religion" is, to my mind, an unnecessary concept that the world would be better off without, and i would argue that history is on my side when i say this. . .
* Atheism is the rejection of belief in the existence of any deities (God or gods)
* Deism is the name of the belief that while a higher being exists, people should rely on logic and reason and not traditions of their religion.
as far as we are concerned, i have only this one question, why there are so many religions and yet most of them are claiming there is only one god. i dont believe in god but i respect every belief that exist. we have our own foundation and its up to us if we want to change it or not. for me, religion is a growing business and being a priest or a pastor is now a profession. religion was also once a big cause of war. to my belief, we are all GOD.

The multi-god system was flawed in that it caused "in-fighting". i.e. the god of A was better than the god of B. Thus, it was easy for the single-god system to come in (Christianity) and divide and conquer/convince the multi-god followers that a unified being was more powerful and more worthy of their adoration.
Don't get me wrong, we still have fighting - but it's now between different systems, instead of amongst the same system - which is a step up I guess.
